Hasta la fecha, el desarrollo de métodos de identificación de la glándula paratiroides (PG) está limitado por la falta de modelos animales en la investigación preclínica. Aquí, establecemos un modelo de rata simple y efectivo para imágenes intraoperatorias de PG y evaluamos su efectividad mediante el uso de nanopartículas de óxido de hierro como un nuevo agente de contraste de PG.
