Hier beschrijven we een preklinisch orthotopisch muismodel voor GBM, vastgesteld door intracraniële injectie van cellen afgeleid van genetisch gemanipuleerde muismodeltumoren. Dit model toont de ziektekenmerken van menselijke GBM. Voor translationele studies wordt de hersentumor van de muis gevolgd door in vivo MRI en histopathologie.
