Hirnmetastasen sind eine Ursache für schwere Morbidität und Mortalität bei Krebspatienten. Die meisten Hirnmetastasen-Mausmodelle werden durch systemische Metastasen kompliziert, die die Analyse der Mortalität und der therapeutischen Interventionsergebnisse verwirren. Hier wird ein Protokoll für die interne Karotisinjektion von Krebszellen vorgestellt, das konsistente intrakranielle Tumoren mit minimalen systemischen Tumoren erzeugt.
