Extracellulaire blaasjes (EV's) dragen bij aan cellulaire biologie en intercellulaire communicatie. Er is behoefte aan praktische testen om de opname van EV's door de cellen te visualiseren en te kwantificeren. Het huidige protocol stelt de EV-opnametest voor door gebruik te maken van driedimensionale fluorescentiebeeldvorming via confocale microscopie, na EV-isolatie door een op nanofiltratie gebaseerd microfluïdisch apparaat.
