Hier beschrijft het protocol hoe dubbele labeling immunofluorescentie kan worden uitgevoerd met behulp van primaire antilichamen die in dezelfde soort zijn grootgebracht om gastheer-pathogeeninteracties te bestuderen. Ook kan het het derde antilichaam van een andere gastheer in dit protocol opnemen. Deze aanpak kan worden gemaakt in elk celtype en pathogenen.
