Descriviamo un'immunofluorescenza e un metodo PCR quantitativo per la localizzazione e la quantificazione dei begomovirus nei tessuti degli insetti. Il protocollo di immunofluorescenza può essere utilizzato per co-localizzare proteine virali e vettoriali. Il protocollo PCR quantitativo può essere esteso per quantificare i virus in corpi di mosca intero e piante infettate da virus.
