Cette étude décrit la surveillance microscopique de l'adhérence au pneumocoque aux chaînes de facteur von Willebrand produites à la surface des cellules endothéliales primaires humaines différenciées sous l'effort de cisaillement dans des conditions définies d'écoulement. Ce protocole peut être étendu à la visualisation détaillée de structures cellulaires spécifiques et à la quantification des bactéries en appliquant des procédures d'immunostaining différentielles.
