Um ensaio de elevado débito para a Salmonella in vitro o fenótipo ou outra associação bacteriana, invasão e replicação em células fagocíticas, com capacidade de alto rendimento foi desenvolvido. O método foi empregado para avaliar knockout gene Salmonella cepas mutantes de seus envolvimentos na interação patógeno-hospedeiro.
