Die Kolonie-bildenden Zellen (CFC)-Assay ist ein in vitro Assay, bei dem hämatopoetischen Vorläuferzellen bilden Kolonien in einem halbfesten Medium. Eine Kombination aus Koloniemorphologie, Zellmorphologie und Durchflusszytometrie werden verwendet, um die Fähigkeit der Vorläuferzellen zur Proliferation und Differenzierung entlang der verschiedenen hämatopoetischen Linien zu beurteilen.
