In de klinische context zullen patiënten met gelokaliseerde alvleesklierkanker pancreatectomie ondergaan, gevolgd door adjuvante behandeling. Dit hier gerapporteerde protocol is bedoeld om een veilige en effectieve methode vast te stellen om dit klinische scenario bij naakte muizen te modelleren, door orthotopische implantatie van alvleesklierkanker gevolgd door distale pancreatectomie en splenectomie.
