Het huidige protocol stelt een rigoureuze en reproduceerbare methode voor kwantificering van morfologische gewrichtsveranderingen die gepaard gaan met artrose. Toepassing van dit protocol kan waardevol zijn bij het monitoren van ziekteprogressie en het evalueren van therapeutische interventies bij artrose.
