Dieses Protokoll beschreibt eine gängige und praktikable Methode zur Induktion akuter Leberverletzungen (ALI) über cCl4 Exposition durch eine orogastrische Röhre. CCl4 Exposition induziert ALI durch die Bildung von reaktiven Sauerstoffspezies während seiner Biotransformation in der Leber. Diese Methode wird verwendet, um die Pathophysiologie von ALI zu analysieren und verschiedene hepatoprotektive Strategien zu untersuchen.
