We presenteren een methode voor het isoleren en cultiveren van primaire menselijke speekselklier-afgeleide epitheliale cellen. Deze cellen vertonen genexpressie patronen consistent met hen van speeksel epitheel oorsprong en kunnen worden gekweekt als salispheres op kelder membraan matrices afgeleid van engelbreth-Holm-Swarm tumorcellen of als monolagen op behandelde cultuur gerechten.
