Penseel cellen zijn zeldzame cholinerge chemosensorische epitheelcellen gevonden in de naïeve muis trachea. Vanwege hun beperkte aantallen is de ex vivo-evaluatie van hun functionele rol in luchtweg-immuniteit en-renovatie een uitdaging. We beschrijven een methode voor isolatie van tracheale penseel cellen door flow cytometrie.
