Dit protocol beschrijft een interne doorvoer voor aanvullende analytische en omics technieken, culminerend in een volledig gekoppeld karakterisering van natuurlijke organische stof en microbiële proteomics in verschillende ecosystemen. Deze aanpak maakt robuuste vergelijkingen voor het identificeren van de metabolische banen en het transformaties die belangrijk zijn voor het beschrijven van de gasproductie van broeikasgassen en het voorspellen van reacties op veranderingen in het milieu.
