השכיחות של השמנת יתר עולה ומגבירה את הסיכון של מחלות ריאה כרונית. להקים את המנגנונים שבבסיס ואת אסטרטגיות מניעה, חיה מוגדרים היטב דרושים מודלים. כאן, אנו מספקים שלוש שיטות (גלוקוז-סובלנות-בדיקה, הגוף plethysmography של הריאה קיבוע) לחקור את ההשפעה של השמנת יתר על תוצאות ריאתי בעכברים.
