Een cel cultuur model van weerstand slagaders wordt beschreven, waardoor de dissectie van signalering van trajecten in endotheel, gladde spieren, of tussen endotheel en gladde spieren (de kruising van de myoendothelial). De selectieve toepassing van agonisten of eiwit isolatie, elektronenmicroscopie of immunofluorescentie kan worden gebruikt met behulp van deze cel cultuur model.
