Este protocolo describe un método para recoger fluido intersticial cardíaco del corazón de rata perfundido aislado. Para separar físicamente el transudato intersticial del perfusado de efluente venoso coronario, se invierte el corazón perfundido de Langendorff y se recoge el transudato (líquido intersticial) formado en la superficie cardiaca usando un tapón de látex blando.
