Induite par le virus gene silencing est un outil utile pour identifier les gènes impliqués dans la résistance non hôte des plantes. Nous démontrons l'utilisation d'agents pathogènes bactériens exprimant GFPuv dans l'identification des gènes des plantes silencieux sensibles aux pathogènes non hôtes. Cette approche est simple, rapide et facilite le dépistage à grande échelle et un protocole similaire peut être appliquée à l'étude de divers autres interactions plantes-microorganismes.
