De myofibro is een invloedrijke stromale cellen van het maagdarmkanaal die belangrijk zijn fysiologische processen reguleert zowel in normale als ziektebeelden. We beschrijven een techniek die voor de isolatie van primaire myofibroblasten van zowel muis als humaan colon weefsel, dat kan worden gebruikt voor in vitro experimenten.
