Este artículo describe el uso de una proteína de fusión luciferasa de luciérnaga-GFP para investigar<em> In vivo</em> Plegamiento de proteínas en<em> Saccharomyces cerevisiae</em>. El uso de este reactivo, el replegamiento de un modelo de proteína desnaturalizada con calor puede ser controlada simultáneamente por microscopía de fluorescencia y un ensayo enzimático para investigar las funciones de los componentes de la red Proteostasis en el control de calidad de la proteína.
