Wir berichten Entwicklung einer negativen Auslese-System in<em> E. histolytica</em> Auf transgene Expression eines chimären Proteins (FCU1) und die Auswahl mit der Prodrug 5-Fluorocytosin basiert. Die FCU1 Protein ist eine Mischung aus Hefe Cytosindeaminase und Uracil phosphoribosyltransferase. Expression von FCU1 führte zu einer erhöhten<em> E. histolytica</em> Sensibilität gegenüber 5-Fluorocytosin.
