Hier beschrijven we elektrofysiologische methoden voor het meten van synaptische transmissie bij de neuromusculaire junctie van Drosophila larve. Evoked release wordt kunstmatig geïnitieerd door het stimuleren van de motorische neuron axonen, en de transmissie door middel van de NMJ kan worden gemeten door de postsynaptische respons opgeroepen in de spier.
